The LAST week of TEACHING PRACTICE..... :( :( :(

"And miles to go before I sleep
AND MILES TO GO BEFORE I SLEEP"

NO WONDER...... now the only thing that I can say is this 2 lines of poem which I learned in my school days.....

Exactly, I don't know how to express my feelings ....!!!!

NOW, I feel.....what exactly I am going to miss soon.....!!!

The teaching practice school???
The supportive teachers there???
The loving students there???
TENSIONS......LATE NIGHT PREPARATIONS......CHART & AID MAKING......etc....etc...

Definitely, I can say, THE BEST GIFT FROM GOD is "being a TEACHER"

This week started with lot of tensions as we had to complete the portions by the end of this week, as our teaching practice is going to end by this Friday.....Monday morning itself, My optional teacher reached our school to watch our class.....I took a good topic 'SKELETON SYSTEM'..I tried my level best to show my caliber to my teacher, and by GOD'S grace, it was excellent....Teacher gave me good remarks on that class....I felt PROUD that I had improved a loooot as a teacher,  and Of course its all because of the training from my teaching practice college.....THANKS TO MY TEACHERS...

During the week, I conducted an achievement test.We all tried to enter all free hours to complete the topics and we did it...On Thursday, I told my students that we are going back tomorrow....Every student seemed to be sad by that moment....myself too.....!!!

We Student-Teachers planned a tea party to the teachers there on Friday....As we entered the school  one of the senior teacher welcomed us for a SENDOFF party.....We all got surprised hearing that term "SENDOFF"....For us, its the first time experience....We all gathered in the hall as mentioned, and there was a formal meeting arranged.....We felt very happy that all the teachers blessed us for a good future and gave great thanks for our services....Even if, we felt sad, we were happy hearing the good comments they told about all of us.....

WE felt like losing our LIFE.....but we realise......this is just a starting ......we have to walk a long journey......like the lines of a poem........

"And miles to go before I sleep....miles to go before I sleep......."

Week started with the visit of our Optional Teacher where I took the class in an effective way. After the class, the teacher wrote my observation diary as usual. But for a change, I read my observation diary from first page to the last ........... and observed the difference well.......

From Tuesday onwards, we all rushed to cover the portions allotted to us as our teaching practice is getting end soon....

On Friday, there we arranged a Yoga session for the students. we both teacher and students enjoyed it........ in the same day, there is a PTA meeting in which we also participated and talked to majority of parents.

5th Week of Teaching Practice

After a long gap (Christmas Vacation & Semester Examination), we student teachers went back to our "Paradise".....Definitely, in this last moments of teaching practice, we cant say another word for describing the school. Only, I can say is "Paradise" ....Now I realised, how much I like this job...

This week started with a good news. As we entered the staff room, the subject teacher wished us with a hearty smile and told us that students was very happy seeing us.....We were assigned to check the answer papers , so that we gave it back ....She seemed to be surprised of some results....She told us that majority of students scored much higher than previous exams and congratulated us....I felt very happy....

Then, back to class......The students was very welcoming.....We expected our teacher's visit this week, but it doesn't happened....We tried to complete the remaining portions in time...Anyways, I personally felt like an experienced teacher as now I am free from all those tensions which haunted months before, when I started my first day in this school....
TIME CHANGED EVERYTHING......."Myself a STUDENT" to "Myself a TEACHER"

4th Week of Teaching Practice

The last week of teaching practice for the year of 2016 ended by this Friday. As this was the last week we tried our maximum to cover the portions and we won the target by the end of this week. Tuesday was a public holiday because of demise of Jayalalitha. We all got tensed as we had to complete portions but we lost one more day. We also lost the classes on Thursday due to the celebration of “Harithakeralam” 2016. We were assigned to lead the NCC and SPC student to collectorate and then to arrange a programme in the school afternoon. We did it well.

On Friday, I used to take smart room class to complete the topics and I complete my topics assigned for this term in an effective manner. I also arranged a revision session after the class. With lots of satisfaction, we went back from school
