Innovation can be defined simply as a new idea, device or method. However, innovation is often also viewed as the application of better solutions that meet new requirements. In education, innovation is often used to view the various new methods of teaching which the teacher imparts to teach effectively. Teacher, by combining the innovative ideas for the betterment of teaching, students are able to learn things in a more effective manner. As part of this, teacher uses innovative ideas in preparing lesson plans in an innovative way. Teacher uses various techniques to make his/her lesson plan more effectively with the help of most modern technology, materials etc...By innovative lesson plan, apart from conventional teaching system, both teachers and students are benefitted; former with effective teaching and latter with effective understanding.....

During the week, I conducted an achievement test.We all tried to enter all free hours to complete the topics and we did it...On Thursday, I told my students that we are going back tomorrow....Every student seemed to be sad by that moment....myself too.....!!!
We Student-Teachers planned a tea party to the teachers there on Friday....As we entered the school one of the senior teacher welcomed us for a SENDOFF party.....We all got surprised hearing that term "SENDOFF"....For us, its the first time experience....We all gathered in the hall as mentioned, and there was a formal meeting arranged.....We felt very happy that all the teachers blessed us for a good future and gave great thanks for our services....Even if, we felt sad, we were happy hearing the good comments they told about all of us.....
WE felt like losing our LIFE.....but we realise......this is just a starting ......we have to walk a long journey......like the lines of a poem........

4th Week of Teaching Practice
The last week of teaching practice for the year of 2016 ended by
this Friday. As this was the last week we tried our maximum to cover the
portions and we won the target by the end of this week. Tuesday was a public holiday because
of demise of Jayalalitha. We all got tensed as we had to complete portions but
we lost one more day. We also lost the classes on Thursday due to the
celebration of “Harithakeralam”
2016. We were assigned to lead the NCC and SPC student to collectorate and then
to arrange a programme in the school afternoon. We did it well.
On Friday, I used to take smart room class to complete the topics and I complete my topics assigned for this term in an effective manner. I also arranged a revision session after the class. With lots of satisfaction, we went back from school
Friday, 2 December 2016
3rd Week of Teaching Practice
The third week is a bit relaxed one, as we got many free periods due to the Kalotsavom.Majority of the teachers were engaged with many activities relating to the Kalotsavom. We took this as an oppurtunity to complete our portions in ana effective manner.Together with that, we used to share some out-of syllabus topics to students during the extra hours we get into their classes.Even if, we felt tired by taking almost all periods, we were feeling very happy that, as B.Ed Trainees, we got enough time to interact with students. We thought "Everything happens for a Reason"....
When ccompared to the weekends of the past week, I felt relaxed as I had completed the lessonplans in advance, which is done for the first time during the whole teaching practice experience. As a whole, I felt that myself and my friends had gained enough experience to be a good teacher through the past tedious days.....

2nd Week of Teaching Practice
Second Week Experience
The second week was just full of tension and
workload. Most of the teachers of the school was busy in preparing the students for the youth festival. So
we have to take all the free hours. Out of eight periods, we took the whole
periods for the week. We were asked to get into the classes even if we don’t
have any periods there. For the additional periods we got, we used to take G K
classes and Moral and Ethics classes for the students. One thing I noticed
is that, every students are interested in our classes
On
the last day, we got an opportunity to see the Honourable person Mr
Rishiraj Sing IPS, as he was in our school for inauguration of Women Defence Training programme “Karuthu”,conducted in Lajnathul Muhammadiya Higher Secondary
school. As we got several hours, we have enough time to complete the lesson
plans. I used to take the lesson in an
effective way by using more and more visual tools and aids. I felt the classes
gone perfect. During the classes I found myself to be good teacher that I had
developed my leadership skill, class control skill and explanation skill to a
large extent when compared to the last semester teaching practices.
Weekly Repot of School Experience Including Curricular Co-curricular and Extention Activities
First week Experience
After getting the training for the last three
semester in our teacher education centre, we students are ready for the next
teaching practice session for 30 days. Totally excited and joy full about it
and with the guidance and learning and training experience we reached our
teaching practice school. For me, it is Lajnathul Muhammadiya Higher Secondary
School.
What
should I say, it was an exciting experience in the first day itself, I stepped
into the school some of my students standing in front of the corridor of the
first floor, calling my name and saying welcoming tone like “Hi Amily Miss”. They also shouted to their friends here and there.
Seeing this, I was totally excited and happy…… Felt like ‘I am wanted here
Myself
with my friends then walked into the Headmistress cabin. Here lies the next
surprising factor, Principal recognised us and welcomed us very happily by
calling our names. She told us that, she is expecting us for past days. She
guided us to the respective teachers in the staffroom. Here also, all teachers
with great love and smiling face welcomed us and after some talks, directed us
about the period and all.
We
the student teachers then started our 30 days teaching practice session with
great surprises and joyfulness
The
teaching experiences is not so different. Students were very happy seeing us.
One important thing we felt is, we all feel a professional change in our
teaching style, Thanks to our beloved teachers of KUCTE to make us to that
position. Because of them, we all feel comfortable, confident, positive,
energetic and professional to a great extent.
The
first weeks of the teaching practice session was so exciting with a lot of
happiness and we are now waiting for our teachers to see our changes in all
matters, in fact they are sole responsible for this grand change. The made us….
To be a great Teachers… !!!!

Radiation blasts leave most Earth-like planet uninhabitable
"Energy released by each superflare equivalent to 100 billion megatons of TNT"
- Date:
- November 18, 2015
- Source:
- University of Warwick
- Summary:
- The most Earth-like planet could have been made uninhabitable by vast quantities of radiation. The atmosphere of the planet, Kepler-438b, is thought to have been stripped away as a result of radiation emitted from a superflaring red dwarf star, Kepler-438. Regularly occurring every few hundred days, the superflares are approximately 10 times more powerful than those ever recorded on the sun and equivalent to the same energy as 100 billion megatons of TNT.
The planet Kepler-438b is shown here in front of its violent parent star. It is regularly irradiated by huge flares of radiation, which could render the planet uninhabitable. Here the planet's atmosphere is shown being stripped away.
